School : General Information and Academic Administration
Supang National High School, originally known as Buenavista National High School Extension, had only 5 teachers when it was renamed Supang National High School in 2007, thanks to the efforts of the municipal mayor. Located in Supang, Buenavista, Guimaras, Philippines. It now includes more than a thousand students divided into grades seven through twelve.
Supang National High School received complete academic assistance from the Department of Education-Guimaras and the local government unit. They offer technical assistance per school. It is a group of supervisors that are in charge of providing support and monitoring the school. This school is well-known for its sports activities, with most students recognized for their athletic abilities, and the school has won numerous sports-related competitions.
The curriculum that they are using Matatag (which was only adopted in grade 7) and Kto12 (which is the current curriculum used from grade 8 to grade 12). Both of these curriculum are remarkably similar to the ones in Indonesia (kurikulum 2013 and kurikulum Merdeka).
Classes for grades 10 through 12 are temporarily unavailable due to the building's likely collapse, according to my cooperating teacher. They have been allocated to hold their classes at the school gym, which isn't ideal because three classes are taking place at the same time; I'm not sure if the students will be able to focus on their classes with so much disturbance. However, students claimed they could manage their classes.
